Better cross-border understanding of disinformation, propaganda and fake news

The project – “Better Cross-Border Understanding of Disinformation, Propaganda and Fake News” includes a series of events and activities aimed at improving media literacy gaps. The project is the result of 6 different organizations and institutions in Europe: Association ZMAI from Macedonia, Institute for Media Literacy from Greece, Technical University from Cyprus, Center for Media Literacy from Latvia, Foundation of Journalists from Poland and National Agency for Education – Lithuania.

For the duration of the project, training on media literacy and dealing with fake news was conducted in North Macedonia, where participants with different profiles and coming from different areas participated – journalists, students, professors, teachers and civil activists.

The final product of this project was an analysis containing conclusions and recommendations about cross-border deficiencies in media literacy.
